We’re Bri and Mike Sick.

Some stories are written. Ours was tattooed into our lives long before we ever realized it.

We met in a tattoo studio, where a shared passion for the industry quickly became an even deeper connection. What began as friendship grew into something neither of us could have imagined—a partnership built on trust, purpose, and the belief that together, we could leave every person, every place, and every experience better than we found it. Since 2014, that has been the foundation of both our relationship and everything we have built.

For years, we dreamed of opening a studio. But we refused to rush it.

We knew that if we were ever going to put our name on the door, it had to mean something. We wanted more than a tattoo shop. We envisioned a space where artistry would be respected, education would be prioritized, and every client would feel genuinely seen. A place where the next generation of artists could learn the craft with intention, integrity, and mentorship. A place where our community could feel safe, welcomed, and celebrated exactly as they are.

The tattoo industry has always been rooted in tradition, and we believe those traditions deserve respect. At the same time, the world continues to evolve—and so do we. Devil's Veil was created to honor the craftsmanship, discipline, and values that built this industry while embracing the elevated client experience, inclusivity, and professionalism that today's clients deserve.

Ironically, Devil's Veil was never meant to be a permanent studio.

Our original vision was simple: create a brand dedicated to traveling for weddings, luxury events, and curated pop-ups. We never imagined opening our doors to something so much bigger. Along the way, we discovered pieces of our hearts in the people who walked through them. Clients became lifelong friends. Artists became family. Apprentices became part of our legacy. What started as a business became a community we never knew we needed.

Today, Devil's Veil is more than the two of us.

It is every story entrusted to us. Every milestone commemorated in ink. Every apprentice who chooses to preserve this craft. Every artist who shares our commitment to excellence. Every client who places their trust in our hands.

This studio is the realization of a dream that took years to build—not because we were waiting for the right time, but because we were committed to building it the right way.

Why Devil's Veil?

People often ask where our name came from.

Devil's Veil was intentionally chosen as an oxymoron.

For decades, tattooed individuals have been unfairly judged—often seen as intimidating, rebellious, or defined solely by the art they wear. Those stereotypes have followed this industry for generations.

Our name represents the moment those assumptions are lifted.

The "Devil" symbolizes the misconceptions surrounding tattoo culture. The "Veil" represents what you discover when you look beyond them.

Behind the tattoos are people who love deeply, build families, serve their communities, and carry meaningful stories on their skin. Artists dedicated to preserving an incredible craft. Clients honoring milestones, memories, healing, and the people they love.

Our goal has always been to elevate the perception of this industry by proving that luxury, professionalism, tradition, and authenticity can exist together.
